Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever their abilities or the technology they use. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Clear structure: Headings, landmarks and reading order are set out so screen readers can move through pages logically.
- Readable text: Strong colour contrast and spacing, and text that scales up without breaking the layout.
- Keyboard friendly: Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Respecting preferences: Light and dark themes both work, and if your device asks for reduced motion the animations stop.
- Meaningful labels: Images, icons and controls carry text alternatives, so a screen reader can describe what they do.
Ongoing work
We test as we build and fix problems as we find them. If something on the site falls short of level AA, tell us and we will put it right.
